The need. A more scalable, flexible platform for delivering assessments online, with a basis for easier third-party integration. The new version was released within a year of starting.

What I did. Designed improvements for greater uptime, a more robust architecture and low maintenance. Internationalization became easier, so assessments are now offered in more than 20 languages.

The need. The online platform for delivering talent assessments to organizations around the world.

What I did. Worked on this version as development team lead for the client project, leading a team of five.

The need. Get an insurance product to market more quickly. A single XML document flowed through the whole application for a session.

What I did. Coded the back end from technical analysis and business requirements, generated and installed CoolGen COBOL, ran unit and integration testing, documented changes and test plans, helped write specs, and served as the team's quality coordinator.
